Bengaluru: United States Ambassador Sergio Gor officially opened the US Pavilion at the Bengaluru Space Expo (BSX) on Monday, bringing together American government representatives and industry leaders to display technological innovations and bolster trade ties with India.

The US delegation's presence at the exhibition highlighted the emphasis placed on equitable, reciprocal commercial opportunities whilst promoting closer cooperation in space technology, research, and scientific development.

Delivering the inaugural address at the event, Ambassador Gor emphasised the strength of the US-India space alliance and the pivotal role private sector collaboration plays in advancing shared economic and technological ambitions.

“Our partnership with India is no longer just about cooperation. It is about co-creation. We are no longer just sharing data. We are co-designing instruments, co-funding startups, and co-authoring the future of human discovery,” Gor said.

A range of American commercial space firms attended the expo to present their technological capabilities and connect with Indian enterprises, emerging startups, investors, and industry executives.

Their involvement demonstrated the breadth of American space enterprise expertise and provided a framework to expand bilateral trade, investment, and corporate partnerships.

Participating US companies represented at the trade fair included Amazon Leo, BlackSky, IONQ (Capella Space), L3Harris, Pellucere Technologies, Vantor Inc, VAST Space, Viasat, and Voyager Technologies.
