The café sells bottled water and tea for ₹10 each, while a samosa is priced at ₹20.

Bhubaneswar: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Monday launched a Udaan Yatri Café at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here, offering food and beverages at pocket-friendly prices for passengers.
Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu inaugurated the café in the presence of MoS Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol and senior officials.
"This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to provide food and beverages at affordable prices to air travellers. The Udaan scheme was introduced to make air travel accessible to all. There were repeated complaints about the high cost of food and drinks at airport premises, and this initiative addresses those concerns," the minister said.
The café sells bottled water and tea for ₹10 each, while a samosa is priced at ₹20.
The first Udaan Yatri Café was opened in Kolkata and later extended to Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Pune. Bhubaneswar is the fifth such facility, and similar centres will soon come up at other airports, the minister added.
