Software glitch caused temporary airline check-in disruptions at major airports on Thursday morning. Services were restored within 40 minutes, minimizing significant delays.

Passengers travelling on Thursday morning faced temporary inconvenience at several major airports after airline check-in systems were affected by a software issue.
According to sources, the problem impacted airlines including IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet and Akasa Air at airports such as Delhi and Mumbai, among others.
The disruption began at around 6:45 am when the check-in systems reportedly went down. As a result, airline staff were unable to process passenger check-ins through the usual digital systems for over 40 minutes.
Sources said the technical issue was resolved by approximately 7:28 am, after which the systems resumed normal functioning.
While the glitch caused brief inconvenience during the busy morning travel period, sources indicated that the disruption was limited in duration and did not lead to significant operational delays for airlines.
There were no immediate statements issued by the airlines regarding the incident.
Further details about the cause of the software problem were not immediately available.
