Three people were killed and over 10 others injured after a Sanchore–Jaipur passenger bus overturned on a highway near Ahore in Rajasthan late Sunday night. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

In a tragic late-night road accident, at least three people were killed, and more than 10 others sustained injuries after a passenger bus travelling from Sanchore to Jaipur overturned on a highway near the Ahore Police Station area on Sunday night, police said.
Ahore Station House Officer (SHO) Karan Singh said that the accident occurred at around 10 pm when the bus allegedly lost control while navigating a stretch of the highway and overturned. Preliminary inputs suggest the vehicle may have been moving at a high speed, though the exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

Soon after the incident, locals rushed to the spot and alerted the police and emergency services. Rescue operations were launched immediately, with passengers being pulled out of the overturned bus amid chaos and panic. Several injured victims were seen lying on the roadside awaiting medical assistance.
The injured passengers were shifted to a nearby government hospital for treatment. Hospital authorities said most of the injured are in stable condition, though some have suffered serious fractures and head injuries. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Police officials said the bus was carrying several passengers at the time of the accident, many of whom were returning to Jaipur after attending family functions. Eyewitnesses claimed that the bus appeared to skid before overturning, though this is yet to be officially confirmed.
Traffic on the highway was disrupted for several hours following the accident, with police later clearing the route. Authorities have launched an investigation to examine whether overspeeding, driver fatigue, or mechanical failure played a role in the mishap. Further details are awaited as the probe continues.
