AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi calls for IAF denial of Rafale crash reports & compassionate Kashmir policy. He also highlights Operation Sindoor`s success.

New Delhi: Following the all-party meeting held to brief political leaders on Operation Sindoor, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday urged the Indian Air Force (IAF) to publicly deny reports of a Rafale jet crash in Bathinda, which have been circulating in international media.
“Many international media outlets have reported that a Rafale has been down in Bathinda. The Indian Air Force should deny it, as it shouldn't damage the morale of our armed forces,” Owaisi said while speaking to the media after the meeting.
The Hyderabad MP emphasised the need for clear communication from the armed forces to counter potential misinformation that could undermine national security confidence.
Owaisi also used the platform to call for a compassionate and strategic approach to Kashmir, saying, “The government has a golden opportunity in Kashmir to confront Pakistan and adopt Kashmiris.”
Referring to victims of ceasefire violations in Poonch, he added, “Those who have lost their lives in Poonch should be declared terrorist victims, and the government should compensate and provide houses for them, as they lost everything because of Pakistan's ceasefire violations.”
Highlighting a key point from the government’s briefing on Operation Sindoor, Owaisi noted, “The biggest takeaways for me are that Bhawalpur and Muridke—two well-known terrorist hubs—were destroyed.”
Operation Sindoor was launched in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, targeting nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Indian government claimed that over 100 terrorists were neutralised in the joint military action.
