After scrutiny, Radhakrishnan officially signed the register. Several NDA allies, including TDP and Shiv Sena representatives, were present.

New Delhi: NDA candidate C P Radhakrishnan officially filed his nomination papers for the vice-presidential election on Wednesday, in the presence of key leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and several senior NDA figures.
Standing alongside NDA leaders, Modi handed over four sets of nomination papers to Rajya Sabha Secretary General P C Mody, the election's returning officer. These nomination papers listed Modi, Singh, Shah, and JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh as the primary proposers.
After the returning officer examined the papers, Radhakrishnan signed the nomination register, and Mody presented an acknowledgement slip to the prime minister. Prominent NDA leaders such as Pralhad Joshi, Dharmendra Pradhan, TDP’s K Ram Mohan Naidu, Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde, and LJPSP’s Chirag Paswan accompanied Radhakrishnan to the Parliament office of the returning officer.
Earlier in the day, Radhakrishnan paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and other national icons at Prerna Sthal within the Parliament complex.
With strong backing from the BJP-led alliance, Radhakrishnan’s election as Vice President is widely seen as a certainty.
