Vijay remarked that while the party faced persistent ridicule and mockery since its launch, it stood its ground by placing its faith solely in the people. He noted that the "landslide of votes" from the citizens of Tamil Nadu represents a triumph of "emotional democracy" over the influence of "money power”, which he claimed has now been "buried deep in the ground”.
The role of families and youth
In his statement, Vijay highlighted that the victory was largely driven by the children and youth of Tamil Nadu, who led their families with deep love to vote for a change. He expressed his lifelong gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu, whom he credited with achieving a political victory that many once thought was impossible.
A call to future supporters
The TVK leader also extended his heartfelt thanks to party cadres, administrators, and the "virtual warriors" who supported the campaign. In a message of unity, Vijay sent his love to those who did not vote for TVK in this election, expressing confidence that they would come to embrace the party’s vision in the future. He concluded by asserting that TVK has now been proven, beyond doubt, to be the primary political force for change in the state.
