Hyderabad is likely to experience a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of rain, thunderstorms or even duststorms during the day.
The city’s temperature is expected to hover between 28 degrees Celsius and 39 degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels may range from 35 per cent to 67 per cent. However, no official weather warning has been issued for the Telangana capital.
Andhra Pradesh:
In Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati is expected to remain under the grip of a heatwave. The city is likely to record temperatures between 31 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius.
According to the IMD forecast, strong surface winds may accompany the heatwave conditions, making outdoor activities challenging during peak afternoon hours.
Karnataka:
Bengaluru, meanwhile, is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with light rain.
The Karnataka capital is likely to record a minimum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels are expected to vary between 45 per cent and 70 per cent. No weather warnings have been issued for the city.
Kerala:
Kerala’s capital, Thiruvananthapuram, is likely to experience cloudy conditions with a few spells of rain or thundershowers.
Temperatures are expected to range from 26 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius, while humidity levels could remain high at 80-85 per cent.
The IMD has warned of heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching speeds of 40-50 kmph in the region.
Tamil Nadu:
Chennai is expected to witness a partly cloudy sky but continue to endure intense heat.
The Tamil Nadu capital is likely to record temperatures between 29 degrees Celsius and 41 degrees Celsius. No weather warnings have been issued for the city despite the soaring daytime temperature.
The latest IMD forecast highlights the diverse weather patterns prevailing across South India, ranging from monsoon-like showers in some regions to persistent heatwave conditions in others.
