TVK chief Vijay calls for a 10-day door-to-door campaign, urging cadre to take the 'Whistle' symbol to every household in Tamil Nadu.

Chennai: As the election fever reaches its peak, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay has issued a rallying cry to his supporters, urging them to dedicate the next 10 days to intensive field work to ensure a "historic victory" for the party’s candidates.
In an emotive message addressed to his "comrades residing in his heart”, the actor-turned-politician framed the upcoming election as a "battle for a generation" rather than a mere political contest.
10-day intensive blitz
Vijay has requested all booth-level convenors and party volunteers to visit every household in their respective localities during the morning and evening hours over the next 10 days.
The ‘Whistle’ outreach
The TVK leader specifically urged cadres to meet people face-to-face and appeal for votes for the party's whistle symbol, explaining the need for a grand change in Tamil Nadu.
Selfless camaraderie
He called upon state and district-level administrators to work in total cooperation with the contesting candidates, setting aside personal differences to work for the "victorious procession" of the party.
Call for ‘People’s Rule’
Emphasising the democratic nature of the battle, Vijay stated that the goal is to establish "true people's rule" and bring a sense of selfless service back to the state's governance.
Closing his message with his signature optimistic tone, Vijay noted that "history, adorned with garlands of glory, is turning back," and concluded with a claim, "Victory is certain!"
