Jaipur: A gas cylinder blast in a shop in Madan market, Bikaner, Rajasthan, on May 7 led to the collapse of a three-storey commercial building, killing eight people and injuring four others.

The explosion occurred in a shop where gold and silver work was being carried out, and the blast caused severe structural damage to the building, resulting in multiple casualties.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vishal Jangid confirmed the incident, stating, “The incident occurred in a shop where work related to gold and silver was being done. Till now, eight people have died.” Among the deceased were Salman, Sachin, and Mohammad Aslam. One of them owned a shop in the building, while the others were workers.
