Former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah, 87, hospitalised in Srinagar after abdominal infection, condition improving

Srinagar: National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah, 87, was admitted to a hospital in Srinagar on Saturday after feeling unwell for several days, party officials said.
The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister reportedly developed an abdominal infection earlier this week and was taken to a private hospital for treatment, according to NC leaders.
"He (Abdullah) was not keeping well for the past few days but his condition is getting better now. He is likely to be discharged later today or tomorrow," a party leader said.
