Recommended alternative routes
To avoid delays, traffic police have advised commuters to take the following detours:
Towards Paharganj / New Delhi: From Kamal T-Point, take a left towards Sarai Rohilla, then right on Veer Banda Bairagi Marg via Rani Jhansi Road.
From Shastri Nagar Chowk to Liberty Cinema: Avoid Swami Narayan Marg and use Rani Jhansi Road.
Authorities have urged commuters to plan journeys in advance, follow traffic personnel instructions at key intersections, and remain patient during the ongoing work.
Background on Delhi traffic disruptions
The curbs come shortly after traffic congestion on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway due to the closure of the Hero Honda Chowk underpass, following safety complaints about falling stones from the structure.
With multiple ongoing roadworks, motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
