A three-storey under-construction building collapsed in Delhi's Rohini on Wednesday evening following heavy rainfall, leaving one person dead and several others feared trapped as rescue teams race against time.

One person was killed after a three-storey under-construction building collapsed in Delhi's Rohini Sector 16 on Wednesday evening amid heavy rainfall.
Rescue teams are continuing efforts to locate and pull out several people feared trapped beneath the debris.
According to officials, the Delhi Fire Service received a distress call at around 4.20 pm and immediately rushed four fire tenders to the site.
Personnel from the police, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and other emergency agencies launched a rescue operation, assisted by locals.
Before specialised teams arrived, locals began clearing broken bricks, concrete slabs and twisted iron rods with their bare hands after hearing cries for help from under the rubble.
Two people were rescued from the debris, while search operations remain underway.
Videos from the scene showed rescue personnel using hydraulic cutters and other specialised equipment to carefully remove heavy concrete slabs in an effort to avoid causing further injury to those believed to be trapped.
Following the incident, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) said the area had been denotified in 2016 and handed over to the local civic body, adding that construction activities in the locality are now monitored by the concerned local authority.
The collapse came as heavy rain battered several parts of the national capital, causing widespread waterlogging and traffic disruptions.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued red and orange alerts for Delhi, warning of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and wind speeds of up to 40 kmph.
