The exit polls predict a close contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Delhi Assembly elections.

However, they also signal a dismal performance for the Congress party. Despite its historical presence in the capital, Congress is expected to win only a handful of seats, with multiple pollsters indicating a weak campaign and slim chances of reclaiming its influence in the city.

The exit polls suggest that Congress may not perform as strongly as anticipated. The Matrize poll predicts a mere 0 to 1 seat for Congress, a dismal outcome that reflects the party’s struggle to gain traction in the face of an intense AAP-BJP rivalry. The P-Marq poll and People's Insight exit polls also predict Congress securing no more than one seat.

In contrast to Congress, both AAP and BJP are projected to dominate the race. While the BJP is expected to edge out AAP in most exit polls. The last time the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled Delhi was from 1993 to 1998. After that, the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections in 1998 saw governments under Indian National Congress and later Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has held power in the city since 2013.
