Thiruvananthapuram: One more person died of Covid infection in Kerala. Thiruvananthapuram Nettayam native Thangappan, 76, died of Covid on Saturday. He had reached the state on the same day from Mumbai.
Thangappan passed away at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital where he was being treated. When he reached Kerala on June 27 itself, he was suffering from severe respiratory illness and was taken to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital. He was being treated at the ICU of the hospital.
Thangappan passed away on July 27 night and his test results for Covid came out on Monday night. With this, the death toll in Kerala due to Covid touched 24.
