The viral Cockroach Janta Party has launched a petition demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over the NEET UG 2026 paper leak controversy.

The viral satirical platform Cockroach Janta Party has launched an online campaign demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan amid the growing controversy surrounding the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak and repeated examination irregularities.
The campaign, led by political communications strategist Abhijeet Dipke, asks people to sign a petition calling for the immediate removal of the education minister. The petition alleges that the country’s education system has been “compromised” due to paper leaks, student distress and repeated failures in conducting major examinations.
In a video message posted online, Dipke said, “Everyone is telling me you are making waves on the internet but now it’s time we make real work count.”
The petition claims that “millions of futures” have been affected by years of exam paper leak controversies and says accountability is necessary after recent outrage over NEET UG 2026.
The development comes days after the X account of the Cockroach Janta Party was withheld in India, triggering a fresh political and social media debate around online satire, youth anger and digital dissent.
Soon after the restriction, a new account named “Cockroach is Back” appeared on X with the tagline “Cockroaches Don’t Die”. The new handle quickly gained traction and again amplified calls seeking the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET UG 2026 paper leak issue.
According to Dipke, the original account had crossed over 2 lakh followers before being withheld in India. The newly created handle also witnessed rapid growth within hours of launch. The movement’s Instagram account continued to remain active and reportedly surged past several major political parties in follower count.
The Cockroach Janta Party emerged earlier this month after remarks made by Surya Kant during a court hearing triggered widespread online discussion. The platform adopted the “cockroach” symbolism and turned it into a meme-driven political satire campaign focused heavily on youth issues such as unemployment, examination paper leaks and frustrations with the system.
Using memes, graphics and sharp social media commentary, the movement quickly gained support among Gen Z users and attracted reactions from politicians, activists and public figures.
