A satirical political campaign calling itself the “Cockroach Janta Party” is gaining rapid traction online after releasing a new protest track linked to the NEET paper leak controversy. The song, titled “Haan Main Hoon Cockroach”, has gone viral across social media platforms, with users widely sharing clips, memes and reactions amid outrage over the cancelled medical entrance exam.

The latest song directly references the NEET-UG paper leak row, student pressure, alleged Telegram paper sales and anger against the examination system. The track mixes satire with political commentary and has quickly become a trending talking point among students and youth groups online.

The group emerged after Chief Justice Surya Kant reportedly compared unemployed youth to “cockroaches” during a hearing, a remark that triggered strong reactions on social media. The online campaign later adopted the label and turned it into a protest identity, with thousands registering themselves as “cockroach” members through the group’s website.

The party’s Instagram profile has already crossed 4.5 M followers in just 3 days. Several users also shared screenshots of digital “membership certificates” circulating online as the campaign expanded.

The latest NEET-themed release has added fresh momentum to the campaign. The lyrics mention students “losing years of hard work”, repeated exam scandals and frustration over alleged silence from authorities. Social media users on X reposted clips from the song alongside hashtags related to NEET 2026, paper leak protests and student justice.

Former AAP social media worker Abhijeet Dipke, who is associated with the initiative, has been promoting the campaign online. The satirical group had earlier drawn attention after Trinamool Congress MPs Mahua Moitra and Kirti Azad interacted with the campaign through social media exchanges.

The renewed attention comes amid nationwide anger over the NEET-UG controversy. The National Testing Agency cancelled the May 3 NEET-UG examination following allegations of a paper leak. A re-examination has now been scheduled for June 21.
