PACR resolves 411 grievances amid West Asia air travel disruption.

As tensions continue to impact air travel across parts of West Asia, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has activated its Passenger Assistance Control Room (PACR) to ensure real-time support for affected travellers.
In an official update shared on social media, the Ministry said the PACR has so far resolved 411 passenger grievances arising from the ongoing developments in the region. The control room is functioning in close coordination with airlines and airport operators to address disruptions, rebooking challenges, refund concerns, and other travel-related queries.

According to the Ministry, passenger complaints and requests for assistance received through multiple channels, including social media platforms, the AirSewa portal, and dedicated helpline numbers, are being actively monitored and prioritised to ensure timely redressal. Officials said special emphasis is being placed on quick response and coordinated action to minimise inconvenience to travellers.
In addition, the PACR has been disseminating helpline numbers issued by Indian Embassies in the affected region, enabling passengers to access consular support and necessary coordination where required. The Ministry said this integrated approach aims to provide both operational assistance related to flights and broader support mechanisms for Indian nationals impacted by the evolving situation.
Passengers seeking assistance have been advised to reach out through the Ministry’s official social media handles, the AirSewa portal, or by contacting the dedicated helplines at 011-24 60 42 83 and 011-24 63 29 87.
The Ministry reiterated that it remains vigilant and committed to safeguarding passenger interests amid the fluid regional situation, while continuing to work closely with all stakeholders in the civil aviation ecosystem.
