Bengaluru: Veteran Congress leader and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has been hospitalised here after developing a fever. He is currently admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital, where doctors are closely monitoring his condition.

According to India Today, Kharge is expected to undergo a full medical check-up to assess his health thoroughly.

He was taken to the hospital late Tuesday following complaints of persistent fever, and medical teams immediately conducted a series of tests and examinations.

"The leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha was taken to hospital on Tuesday as he developed fever and complained of leg pain. He is fine, nothing to worry. Doctors are monitoring," a Congress leader told PTI.
