The NDA is expected to lead with 46.2%, followed by the Mahagathbandhan at 37.9%.

Patna: Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj party has emerged as a significant player in Bihar's 2025 assembly election, with exit polls predicting the debut political outfit will secure a higher vote share than Congress. According to the People's Pulse exit poll, Jan Suraaj is projected to capture 9.7% vote share, surpassing Congress's predicted 8.7% vote share in the Bihar election results.
The Bihar exit polls reveal a competitive three-way contest among NDA, Mahagathbandhan, and emerging players. The People's Pulse survey, based on interviews with 42,031 respondents across 2,154 villages covering all 243 assembly seats, projects the NDA will secure 46.2% vote share, while the opposition Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) is expected to garner 37.9%. Jan Suraaj's strong vote share performance marks an impressive debut for the party founded just over a year ago on Gandhi Jayanti 2024.
However, the Bihar election 2025 exit polls reveal a stark disconnect between vote share and seat projections. While Jan Suraaj leads Congress in vote share, the party faces challenges converting votes into seats. Most exit polls project Jan Suraaj will win just 0-5 seats, while Congress is expected to secure 9-18 seats. This reflects the first-past-the-post electoral system's nuances, where vote concentration matters more than overall vote share percentages.
The Bihar assembly elections 2025 witnessed historic participation, with voter turnout reaching 67.13%—the highest since 1951. Vote counting commenced on November 14, 2025, across 46 counting centres nationwide.
Within the NDA coalition, the People's Pulse exit poll projects the BJP will secure 21.4% vote share with 63-70 seats, while JD(U) is expected to get 17.6% vote share and 55-62 seats. The opposition camp shows RJD leading with 23.3% vote share and 62-69 projected seats.
