Ayodhya is preparing for a historic moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the sacred flag atop the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on November 25, with the temple town witnessing major spiritual, cultural and civic preparations.

Ayodhya is gearing up for another grand moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lead the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on November 25.
The event, being described as spiritually momentous, will mark the hoisting of the sacred flag atop the temple’s shikhar (spire).
In the days leading up to the ceremony, the temple complex and the city are undergoing extensive preparations. Streets are being adorned, security has been intensified, and thousands of devotees from across the country are expected to gather for the occasion.
The saint community has expressed deep enthusiasm ahead of the event. Jagat Guru Paramhans Acharya Ji Maharaj, Peethadheeshwar of Tapasvi Chhawani, said the ceremony holds “civilisational significance”.
Calling PM Modi a Yugpurush, he added, “He has not only transformed the appearance of Ayodhya but revived its ancient aura. What we read in the Vedas and Puranas about Ayodhya Dham is becoming visible again.
From bhoomi pujan to shilanyas to the temple inauguration — all happened under PM Modi’s leadership. Now, the flag-hoisting in his presence adds to the joy of saints. It symbolises a milestone for Hindu society.”
Iqbal Ansari, former litigant in the Babri Masjid case, also welcomed the Prime Minister’s visit.
“Ayodhya looks beautiful today because of PM Modi’s efforts. People of all communities live here peacefully. Fortunately, the Prime Minister will hoist the flag. We want a leader who ensures Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and harmony between Hindus and Muslims,” he said.
Local seers and devotees echoed similar sentiments, calling the upcoming ceremony another milestone in Ayodhya’s cultural and spiritual revival.
