Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: NSG commandos conducted a mock drill at the Ram Mandir complex in Ayodhya to assess security arrangements and preparedness to respond to emergency situations.

The exercise was aimed at reviewing the response mechanisms and coordination required during a potential security threat at the temple complex.

The drill comes amid plans to establish an NSG regional hub in Ayodhya. The Centre and Uttar Pradesh government have approved the setting up of the facility, which is intended to strengthen security around the Ram Temple and improve the rapid deployment of specialised counter-terror personnel in the region.
