New Delhi: Air India is all set to make a strong comeback in Madurai with the launch of new direct flights to New Delhi and Chennai, beginning this December. The move marks a major step in improving regional air connectivity in Tamil Nadu and is expected to benefit both business and leisure travellers.

At the same time, Air India Express will reintroduce its flight services from Madurai to New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai from December 1, bringing back routes that had been suspended for a while.
