A heartwarming incident from Goa is winning hearts across social media, after a local woman stepped in to help a foreign tourist lost at night when Google Maps failed to guide her back to her hotel.
The incident reportedly took place around 10 pm in South Goa, where the tourist was seen walking alone on a deserted stretch of road, visibly anxious and in tears after losing her way. She had been trying to return to her hotel on foot when her navigation app malfunctioned, leaving her stranded in the dark.
At that moment, Sindhu Kumari, a local rider, noticed the distressed woman and stopped to help. Instead of simply giving directions, she took time to calm the tourist, reassured her that she was safe, and offered to drop her to her hotel herself.
Sindhu then safely escorted the tourist to Hotel Coconut Grove Beach Resort, making sure she reached the destination without fear. When the tourist tried to pay her for the ride, Sindhu refused the money with a smile and said, “It’s okay, I don’t want it.” She instead shared her Instagram handle, telling the tourist to contact her if she needed help again.
A video narrating the incident has now become a viral video from Goa, with thousands of users praising the Good work. Many said the clip showcases the real India kindness, safety, and humanity before anything else.
