Shilpa Shinde has found herself at the centre of another controversy on Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. This time, the actor is facing criticism over comments she made about fellow contestant Shivangi Joshi's personal life, with many social media users accusing her of crossing the line.

A clip from the latest episode has now gone viral, prompting viewers to call out Shilpa's remarks as "cheap" and "character assassination".

During a conversation with fellow contestant Shreya Kalra, Shilpa claimed that Shivangi did not genuinely like her despite being polite to her face. According to Shilpa, it was only a matter of time before the two had a confrontation inside the house.

When Shreya remarked that Shivangi "doesn't make friends with people like you", Shilpa responded by saying she would "set her right" before leaving the show.

She then went on to speak about Shivangi's past relationships, alleging that the actor had been linked to co-stars from nearly every show she had worked on. 
"Oh yes, we're very bad and she's so nice. Main bhi aise logon ko saamne naa khada karun. Barabar karti hoon main usko, theek karke jaaungi usko yahan se. Itne shows kiye ab tak aur jis show mein gayi hai uss show mein uss ladke ke saath affair raha hai. Abhi Kushal Tandon usse bada hai age wise dekho toh, uske saath bhi toh affair tha uska. Uske baad aap yeh acting karte ho. Are we this pathetic? When the conversation turns into a physical relationship, you act innocent," she said.

Social media calls out the remarks

Soon after the episode aired, the clip began circulating across social media platforms, where many viewers criticised Shilpa for bringing Shivangi's personal life into the discussion.

One user questioned, "How low will Shilpa stoop now?"

Another tagged host Farah Khan and wrote that the comments should not be ignored, calling them "character assassination" and saying Shivangi deserved to know what was being said about her.

Others described the remarks as "cheap" and questioned why Shilpa was judging someone else's personal relationships.

Not the first controversy involving the two

This is not the first time conversations involving Shilpa and Shivangi have sparked online debate.

Earlier, another clip featuring Shilpa and Shreya mimicking Shivangi went viral. Many viewers criticised the exchange, especially a comment referring to Shivangi's virginity, with several calling it unnecessary and in poor taste.

The latest episode has only added to the criticism surrounding Shilpa's behaviour on the reality show.
