Kozhikode, Kerala: A young man allegedly hacked his wife, Shibila, to death and attacked his in-laws in Kozhikode on Tuesday. The accused has been identified as Yasar.

Initial reports suggest that a family dispute led to the attack. Shibila’s mother, Haseena, is undergoing treatment at Thamarassery Taluk Hospital, while her father, Abdurahman, has been admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

Yasar was reportedly under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident. Further investigations are underway.
