Jaipur:A shocking crime unfolded in Jaipur’s Ambabari area, where a 48-year-old woman, identified as Jyoti, was stabbed and robbed inside her home by two domestic helps and their accomplice on Monday evening.

According to police, Jyoti was alone at home when the attack occurred. Her husband, Devendra, was away on a business trip, while her son, Shailesh, was at their shop in New Aatish Market. Taking advantage of her isolation, the two domestic helps, identified as Indrajit and Ashok, both in their mid-twenties, along with another accomplice, carried out the assault before fleeing the scene.

Police have launched an investigation and are currently tracking the whereabouts of the accused. Authorities are also examining CCTV footage and gathering witness statements to piece together the sequence of events.

The motive behind the crime appears to be pre-planned robbery, as valuables were reported missing from the house. The incident has raised concerns over household security and background verification of domestic workers in the city.

Further updates on the police probe and the condition of the victim are awaited as law enforcement officials continue their search for the accused.
