Thiruvananthapuram: In a huge catch, the Excise Department seized kilos of ganja which was hidden in a secret chamber of a car in Kovalam here on Wednesday. The car driver has been taken into custody. 

The cannabis was confiscated during a search conducted by the Excise State Enforcement Squad. It was hidden in a secret chamber set up near the platform of the car. The exact quantity of the ganja is yet to be determined.
