Kochi: A hidden camera was reportedly found in the bathroom of a private PG accommodation at Ponnurunni. A girl residing there noticed a mobile camera placed in the exhaust fan in their bathroom. They alleged that despite filing a complaint, the Kadavanthra police did not register a case. The girls then sought help from the Ernakulam City Vanitha Police Station.

The incident occurred on a Wednesday when one of the girls spotted the mobile phone camera in the bathroom. She promptly informed her roommates, and they all went to alert the owner. However, by the time they returned, the mobile phone had vanished from the bathroom.

The girls lodged a complaint with the Kadavanthra police, but according to them no case was filed. They claimed that the police officers informed them that there would be a delay in taking action as there were no superiors in the station. Later, they approached the Ernakulam City Vanitha Police Station.
