
Hyderabad: A serious incident at the girls hostel of CMR Engineering College has sparked outrage and protests among students. The controversy erupted after allegations surfaced that cooks employed at the hostel had secretly recorded videos of the female students in the bathroom using mobile phones.
On Wednesday, the affected students launched a protest, demanding justice while chanting slogan "We want justice!" The students are voicing their anger and concerns over their privacy being violated in such a disturbing manner.
The incident came to light when the student union received information about the alleged recordings and immediately extended their support to the girls, joining the protests. The student body has expressed solidarity with the female students, calling for strict action against the perpetrators.
In response to the alarming allegations, the local police have assured the students that they will register a formal case and begin a thorough investigation into the matter.
