A 17-year-old girl in Alappuzha stabbed her Mahila Congress leader mother after a heated argument over phone charger.

Alappuzha: A 17-year-old girl allegedly stabbed her mother, a local Mahila Congress leader, following an argument over mobile phone use on Wednesday.
Reports suggest tensions had been escalating between the two over the girl’s phone habits. The situation turned violent when the mother hid her daughter’s phone charger and refused to return it despite repeated requests.
In a fit of rage, the girl reportedly stabbed her mother in the neck.
The injured woman was taken to Vandanam Medical College and is currently receiving treatment.
