Bhavnagar's Yajurvi Joshi brought pride to Gujarat and India by winning two gold medals at the inaugural World Yogasana Championship 2026 held in Ahmedabad. She secured gold in the Hand Balance and Traditional Group events, marking a major milestone in her sporting career.

Yajurvi began practising Yogasana in 2019 and steadily progressed through years of discipline and dedication. Her achievements include five gold medals at Khel Mahakumbh, strong performances at national competitions, and selection to state coaching camps before representing India on the world stage.

Speaking after her victory, Yajurvi said her dream is to compete in the Olympic Games proposed to be held in Ahmedabad in 2036. Her father credited her success to years of consistent practice and unwavering family support.
