India batting icon Virat Kohli has once again made headlines, this time with a humorous response about his Test cricket future during the global launch of his new One8 shoe collection. Kohli, who retired from Test cricket last year after scoring 9,230 runs, revealed that the pricing of the new red-themed shoe matches his final Test run tally.

When jokingly asked whether he would return to Test cricket to increase profits from the red-coloured footwear inspired by his red-ball legacy, Kohli laughed off the idea and said he would rather sell fewer shoes than make a comeback.

During the interaction, Kohli also reflected on his never-give-up attitude and recalled his memorable match-winning innings against Pakistan in the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia.

Kohli is expected to return in India colours for the ODI series against England, subject to fitness.
