According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures in Vidarbha are currently above the seasonal average. In view of the rising heat levels, the department has issued a yellow alert for several areas, warning of continued high temperatures in the coming days.

Authorities have urged residents to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the heat. People have been advised to stay well-hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and wear light, protective clothing.

Health officials have also cautioned that sudden spikes in temperature can increase the risk of heat-related illnesses such as dehydration and heat exhaustion, especially among children, the elderly and outdoor workers.
