Tourists thronged Courtallam Waterfalls in Tamil Nadu’s Tenkasi district, enjoying the steady water flow and pleasant weather as the popular monsoon destination reopened to the public
Tenkasi: The popular Courtallam Waterfalls in Tamil Nadu’s Tenkasi district witnessed a surge of tourists and nature enthusiasts on Sunday, as pleasant weather and a steady flow of water created ideal conditions for a weekend retreat.
Visitors from across the state thronged the scenic spot, relishing the cool breeze and taking refreshing dips in the cascading waters while capturing the picturesque surroundings on camera.
Known for its charm during the monsoon season, Courtallam had earlier been closed to the public due to safety restrictions imposed at the peak of the rains. With the ban now lifted and water flow stabilising, tourists are making the most of the renewed access, turning the famed falls into a lively hub of activity once again.
