Siliguri, West Bengal: The streets of Siliguri came alive with vibrant colours as members of the LGBTQ community organised a Pride Walk to advocate for social inclusivity, equality, and legal recognition.

On Sunday, participants representing diverse gender identities marched together through the city, using the platform to raise awareness about their rights and the challenges they continue to face in society. The walk also highlighted concerns over discrimination and the lack of adequate legal protection for the LGBTQ community.

Carrying placards and banners, the participants called for greater acceptance and equal treatment, emphasising the need for inclusive policies and broader societal change.

The Pride Walk commenced from Mahatma Gandhi Junction, proceeded along Hill Cart Road, and concluded at Baghajatin Park in the afternoon. The event drew attention from locals and passersby, reflecting the growing visibility of LGBTQ rights movements in the region.
