A massive fire broke out in Shikohabad city of Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh, triggering panic in the area on Sunday.

The blaze initially erupted in a vegetable market and quickly escalated, spreading to an adjacent cloth market.

Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot as the fire intensified. Fire officer Satendra Pandey confirmed that multiple units have been deployed and firefighting operations are currently underway to contain the blaze.

Authorities said no casualties have been reported so far, though efforts continue to bring the situation under control and prevent further damage.
