NGMA hosts fourth edition of ‘Srijan’ workshop for specially-abled artists
A vibrant art workshop for specially-abled children lit up the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi
New Delhi: The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) came alive with colour and creativity as specially abled artists participated in the fourth edition of Srijan, an art and craft workshop dedicated to nurturing talent beyond disability.
Organised by Citizens for Welfare State in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Chapter of Special Olympics Bharat, the workshop, which was held on Monday, featured guided art sessions aimed at helping children explore their creative potential and build artistic confidence.
The initiative is part of a series of programmes scheduled in the run-up to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3.
Organisers said they hoped the workshop would continue to inspire and empower specially abled individuals, providing them with wider platforms to showcase their abilities and move towards greater self-reliance.
