Netflix is doubling down on India’s booming digital entertainment space with a major new collaboration featuring comedian and creator Samay Raina. The streaming giant has announced the return of the viral talent show India’s Got Latent for Season 2, alongside an all-new exclusive stand-up comedy special. In a first-of-its-kind move, the new season will stream simultaneously on Netflix and YouTube starting this Saturday, with fresh episodes releasing every two weeks.

In the launch promo, Samay Raina joked that the show remains “same to same,” except Netflix audiences will enjoy an ad-free experience without a comment section.

The return comes more than a year after India’s Got Latent made headlines following controversy linked to comments made during an episode in early 2025.

Alongside the show, Netflix confirmed that Raina’s upcoming stand-up special will showcase his signature observational comedy, storytelling, and candid takes on everyday life. More details are expected soon.
