Kerala Polls: PK Kunhalikutty questions govt on housing for Wayanad landslide victims
Polling for the state elections is scheduled for April 9, with counting of votes on May 4.
As the state gears up for the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly elections, IUML leader PK Kunhalikutty has raised concerns over the government’s failure to complete houses promised to Wayanad landslide victims, criticising the CPM for targeting the Congress instead.
Kunhalikutty said the public debate should focus on why the administration has not delivered on housing projects for those affected by the disaster, rather than attacking the opposition.
Polling for the state elections is scheduled for April 9, with counting of votes on May 4. Constituencies such as Nemom are expected to remain closely watched, particularly as the BJP seeks to expand its influence in Kerala.
