A Jaipur-based businessman has turned his daughter’s wedding invitation into an extraordinary showpiece, spending nearly ₹25 lakh on a handcrafted silver card.

The elaborate invitation, created by Shiv Johri for his daughter Shruti’s wedding, is made from about three kilograms of silver and showcases detailed engravings of 65 Hindu deities. The card, which is around eight inches long and three inches thick, presents a complete depiction of the Indian pantheon in finely carved silver.

Adding to its uniqueness is the technique used to assemble the invitation. A total of 128 pieces of silver form the base of the card, all joined together without the use of nails or screws, highlighting the precision and skill involved in its making.
