Emraan Hashmi unveils ROOH, a musical horror spectacle directed by Mayank Sharma.
Actor Emraan Hashmi is stepping back into the horror space with ROOH, an upcoming musical horror film scheduled for release in 2027. Known for memorable performances in horror hits like Raaz 3 and Ek Thi Daayan, Hashmi unveiled the first teaser through Instagram, featuring eerie forest visuals, a levitating girl and a mysterious final reveal.
Directed by Mayank Sharma, best known for Breathe, ROOH will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film is being positioned as a theatrical experience that combines new-age horror, music and emotional storytelling.

Speaking about the project, Hashmi said the film instantly connected with him because of its intense and cinematic world. Sharma described the movie as an attempt to create a horror experience that goes beyond fear and delivers emotional depth.
