President Droupadi Murmu visited the Sripuram Golden Temple in Vellore during her brief trip to Tamil Nadu, where she offered prayers at the revered shrine.

On Wednesday, she was received with full temple honours and was guided through the Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple complex by temple authorities.

During the visit, the President also inaugurated a meditation hall constructed at a cost of ₹5 lakh to promote spiritual well-being among devotees.

Earlier in the day, upon her arrival at the Sripuram helipad, President Murmu was welcomed by Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi and senior state officials.
