Delhi Traffic Police personnel are turning to innovative cooling solutions to cope with the intense summer heat while managing traffic on the capital’s busy roads. Equipped with specially designed ‘AC helmets’ and portable fans, officers on duty are finding relief from the scorching temperatures that often make long outdoor shifts extremely challenging.

The cooling helmets, currently being tested on a trial basis, are designed to circulate air and reduce heat stress for personnel stationed at traffic intersections for hours at a stretch. Portable fans are also being distributed to provide additional comfort during peak afternoon heat.
