Elderly women from a Belagavi old-age home in Karnataka are redefining what it means to age with their grey hair, radiant smiles, and boundless energy. Their artistic endeavours and dance performances have garnered recognition throughout India and received millions of views on the internet.

One of the residents, 70-year-old Suman Mohite, recently represented the home at a Fit India event in Visakhapatnam. Her energetic performance received overwhelming applause and national attention.

The residents regularly participate in dance, rangoli, drawing, exercise, and physiotherapy sessions that help them stay active and engaged. Their journey has also taken them to television platforms and social media, where their videos continue to inspire audiences.

The home provides free shelter and support for elderly people without financial or family support. What began as care and companionship has now become a powerful message of fitness, dignity, and joyful ageing.
