After wrapping up an intense 3-month global tour spanning 8 countries, comedian Zakir Khan has opened up about the physical and emotional toll of nonstop performances, calling it a journey that “tested and transformed” him.

Mumbai: Popular comedian and actor Zakir Khan has wrapped up a whirlwind 3-month-long world tour that took him across 8 countries, 19 cities, 25 shows, and 48 flights — an experience he says tested and transformed him in ways he “never imagined.”
Sharing his reflections on Instagram, Zakir took to his stories and shared:
“This tour has tested me in ways I never imagined, but it’s also transformed me in ways I’ll never forget. None of this would have been possible without my incredible team — the ones who believed, who pushed, and who turned dreams into reality with me.”
The comedian’s performances drew audiences from around the world — including global icon Priyanka Chopra, who attended his New York show. She later shared a selfie with him, writing:
“Thank you for your kindness, humor, and creativity. So happy to know you, @zakirkhan_208.” Responding to her post, Zakir expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“You are grace in motion! Thank you for your kindness and for being such a guiding light — for me and for so many others.”
Recently, Zakir also announced he would be taking a break from touring after ten consecutive years of back-to-back shows, citing health reasons.
He wrote,
“I have been touring for the last 10 years. Though I am extremely blessed to receive your love and affection, iss tarah ki extensive touring is not very healthy. Trying to satisfy everyone you meet, 2–3 shows in a day, sleepless nights, early morning flights, and no timetable for meals — net-net, 1 saal se bimar hi hoon, par kaam karna hi pada.”
The 36-year-old added that he will perform a limited number of shows on his upcoming India tour before taking an extended pause:
“I absolutely love being on stage, par ab thoda break lena padega shayad. Yeh special record karke thoda lamba break lene ki salah di gayi hai mujhe.”
