Mumbai: This Diwali, Bollywood won’t just glow with diyas and crackers — it’s set to blaze with the arrival of three dazzling stars from the South: Rashmika Mandanna, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela. Each of these powerhouse performers is gearing up to charm Hindi cinema audiences with major releases timed for the festive season.

Sai Pallavi To Star As Goddess Sita in Epic ‘Ramayana’
Making her much-awaited Bollywood debut, Sai Pallavi steps into the legendary role of Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s grand adaptation of the ‘Ramayana’. Opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram and Kannada superstar Yash — who makes his own Hindi debut as ‘Raavan’ — Sai Pallavi’s casting has already set social media abuzz.

Though ‘Ramayana’ will be her official launch in Hindi cinema, Sai Pallavi has reportedly finished filming ‘Ek Din’ with Junaid Khan, which might hit screens sooner. Known for her magnetic screen presence in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu hits like ‘Premam’ (2015), ‘Fidaa’ (2017), ‘Maari 2’ (2018), ‘Love Story’ (2021), Sai Pallavi is now ready to conquer a pan-Indian audience.

Sreeleela to Shine Opposite Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s Next
Also joining the Diwali Bollywood wave is Telugu cinema’s dancing sensation Sreeleela, making her debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s upcoming romantic drama.

While the project remains untitled — though widely speculated to be ‘Aashiqui 3’ — Basu recently confirmed that filming is halfway done, with plans to wrap soon and announce details. Following his recent release ‘Metro... In Dino’, Basu aims to deliver yet another heartfelt love story, this time featuring the fresh pairing of Sreeleela and Kartik Aaryan.

Rashmika Mandanna’s Thrilling Comeback with ‘Thama’
Bollywood’s favorite ‘national crush’ Rashmika Mandanna returns to Hindi screens with ‘Thama’ — a horror-comedy spiced with romance and supernatural thrills. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya fame, ‘Thama’ unfolds around a determined historian digging into ancient vampire myths, only to awaken forces beyond imagination. Starring opposite Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time, Rashmika leads a cast that also features veterans Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. With a Diwali 2025 release locked in, Thama promises to join hits like Stree in Bollywood’s expanding horror-comedy universe.

Rashmika, who made her Bollywood debut in ‘Goodbye’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, followed by ‘Mission Majnu’, ‘Animal’, and more, is set to add another feather to her cap with ‘Thama’.

With these three South sensations lighting up Hindi screens, this Diwali might just turn into Bollywood’s brightest — and boldest — celebration yet.
