Tiger Shroff’s mother, Ayesha Shroff, has shared a reassuring update on the actor’s condition after gunmen allegedly opened fire at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area, while Disha Patani rushed to his residence following the incident.

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff had a close call on Sunday evening, October 18, when unidentified men allegedly fired five rounds at his BMW as he returned home after playing football. While Tiger escaped without any gunshot injuries, his driver and an autorickshaw driver sustained injuries in the firing.

Amid concerns over the actor’s safety, Ayesha offered a brief update on her son’s condition. Speaking to India Today, she gave a thumbs-up when asked how Tiger was doing and said, “God is great.”

Disha Patani Rushes to Tiger Shroff’s Residence

Disha Patani was among those who visited Tiger after the shooting. The actor arrived at his residence late on Sunday night, hours after news of the incident emerged.

A video shared by paparazzi showed Disha stepping out of her car and heading straight inside the house. She appeared to be in a hurry and did not stop to interact with photographers waiting outside.

Disha and Tiger have been linked romantically for several years, although neither actor publicly confirmed their relationship. The two worked together in the 2018 action film Baaghi 2 and featured in the music video Befikra. Their frequent appearances at restaurants, holidays and public outings fuelled speculation about their relationship.

In July 2022, reports suggested that the two had parted ways earlier that year after dating for nearly six years. They were reportedly on cordial terms following their separation.

What Happened During the Firing Incident?

The shooting took place near Pushpa Park in Juhu on Sunday evening. Tiger was reportedly returning from a football match when three motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at his BMW.

His driver, identified as Firdous, sustained a gunshot injury to his left hand and was admitted to Nanavati Hospital for treatment. An autorickshaw driver was also injured and taken to Cooper Hospital.

According to reports citing hospital sources, Tiger suffered minor abrasions, was examined by doctors and later discharged. Reports also stated that the actor took over the wheel after his driver was injured.

The Juhu police have registered a case against three unidentified persons under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act. The driver’s statement has been recorded as part of the investigation.

A forensic team reportedly examined the scene and collected ballistic evidence, while investigators reviewed CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify the assailants. Reports also indicated that a person was detained in Santacruz in connection with the case.

Alleged Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Link Under Investigation

Following the shooting, social media posts purportedly claiming responsibility for the attack surfaced, allegedly linking it to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Two individuals identified in reports as Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu were named in posts attributed to alleged gang operatives.

One of the messages, written in Hindi, claimed that Tiger had previously been contacted and warned. It also allegedly threatened members of the Mumbai film industry who did not comply with the group's demands or worked with Salman Khan.

The authenticity of these social media claims has not been independently established, and the allegations should not be treated as confirmed. The police investigation into the firing remains underway.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also reportedly visited Tiger at his residence following the incident.
