Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed warm wishes and blessings to Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna ahead of their Feb 26 wedding in Udaipur, highlighting their journey and offering hopes for a life of partnership and love.
Udaipur: With just a day to go for one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of the year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his warmest greetings to actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, ahead of their wedding in Udaipur on February 26, 2026.
In a heartfelt letter addressed to Vijay’s parents, Madhavi and Goverdhan Rao Deverakonda, the Prime Minister conveyed his pleasure at being invited to the occasion and offered his congratulations to both families.

In his message, PM Modi described the upcoming union as a “truly joyous and auspicious occasion,” and said it marked “the beginning of a new, beautiful chapter in the lives of Vijay and Rashmika.”
Drawing from the cultural symbolism of marriage, he referenced the Sanskrit word that signifies taking seven steps together, noting that through this tradition the couple would become “friends for life.”
Reflecting on the couple’s cinematic journeys, the Prime Minister observed that while both actors have brought numerous memorable scripts to life on screen, the “divinely scripted chapter” of their real lives would “surely outshine the magic they have created on the silver screen.”
He expressed hope that the couple would build a life together rooted in shared dreams, mutual understanding, and enduring love.
“May they share responsibilities, embrace each other’s imperfections, learn from each other’s strengths and journey through life as true partners,” PM Modi wrote, extending his blessings for a fulfilling future.
The wedding, set to take place at a luxury hotel in the historic city of Udaipur, has drawn significant attention not only for its star power but also for the elaborate security arrangements put in place. Both private security personnel and members of the local police force have been deployed around the venue to ensure the safety and privacy of the event.
