Malayalam actors Sana Althaf and Hakim Shahjahan quietly tied the knot at a register office on Monday. Sana has now shared a video capturing those intimate moments, including the registration procedure and signing of the register.
The video, posted on Sana's Instagram account (@sana.althaf_), has garnered praise from colleagues and fans alike. Many have commented on its simplicity, noting that its beauty surpasses that of lavish weddings costing crores of rupees. On their special day, Hakim Shahjahan was dressed in a white shirt and dhoti, while the stunning bride adorned herself in a white silk saree complemented by a pink border.
The couple legally married in May and later hosted a low-key wedding reception for close family and friends a week later.
Shahjahan, hailing from Thodupuzha, made his acting debut in Martin Prakkat's film 'ABCD' and served as co-director for 'Charlie'. His notable performances include the short film 'Freedom at Midnight' (2021) and roles in Tamil films like 'Kadaseela Biriyani.' Some of his popular films include ‘Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu', ‘Kothu’, ‘Visudha Mejo’, and ‘Priyan Ottathilanu’.
Sana entered the film industry with a role as Dulquer's sister in 'Vikramadithyan'. Her notable roles include playing Fahad Fazil's heroine in 'Mariyam Mukku', besides some notable roles in 'Rani Padmini' and 'Odiyan' as well. She made her Tamil debut through Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings. She then acted alongside Farhan Faazil in 'Basheerinte Premalekhanam'.
